Zcash (ZEC) fell 2.53% in the hour ending at 1:05 p.m. ET Saturday as long liquidations totaled $1.31 million on Binance, Bybit and OKX. The endpoint was 17:05 UTC.

Binance’s spot ZEC/Tether (USDT) market quoted the coin at $1,117, compared with $1,147 one hour earlier. A separate 24-hour reading showed a 2.64% decline, covering a longer period than the one-hour price change.

Liquidations of short positions came to $10,000, a fraction of the long-side total. A long ZEC trade moves in the trader’s favor when the price rises; a liquidation ends a position the trader can no longer sustain.

The spot quote reflects Binance, while the liquidation totals combine activity on three exchanges. The figures describe price and forced position closures over the hour; the 24-hour percentage uses a separate comparison window.
