Optimism said ZiskVM is testing its OP Stack software, which lets teams build independent Ethereum layer-2 networks; its broader model also includes a shared application chain.

The open-source software lets developers build separate Ethereum layer-2 networks and run them independently. World, Unichain and Soneium run OP Stack networks; Ink’s network uses OP Enterprise.

OP Mainnet is the shared application chain within Optimism’s wider design. A bridge is needed to move assets from one separately operated network to another.
