Indian consumer products company Zydus Wellness Limited returned to a reported profit in Q2 FY27 as revenue rose 73.2%, against a year-earlier loss that included acquisition-related expenses.

NDTV Profit reported consolidated net profit of ₹51 million for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2026. Zydus’s 2025 consolidated results filing shows a ₹528 million loss for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2025.

Business Upturn reported revenue from operations of ₹11.266 billion for the latest quarter. The earlier figure was ₹6.505 billion, according to Zydus’s 2025 filing. That comparison yields growth of 73.2%, in line with Business Upturn’s report.

Zydus recorded ₹342 million in exceptional expenses in the 2025 quarter. The total comprised ₹245 million related to the acquisition of Comfort Click Limited and ₹97 million tied to the liquidation of Naturell (India) Private Limited.

The year-earlier quarter included Comfort Click’s operations only from Aug. 29, 2025, when Zydus completed the acquisition. In its presentation for that period, the company said Alidac UK Limited’s results were included for one month and two days.

Zydus also linked weakness in seasonal products during the 2025 quarter to early, prolonged rains. It said the GST 2.0 transition disrupted sales in that period.

Zydus has scheduled a results call for Nov. 3 at 5:30 a.m. ET (10:30 UTC), with CEO Tarun Arora and CFO Umesh Parikh.
