Michelle joined RHUL in 2012. She has articles in prominent journals, including Security Studies and International Affairs, and has two sole-authored books published: one analysing WMD and a second entitled 'Syria and the Chemical Weapons Taboo: Exploiting the Forbidden' (with Manchester University Press), looking at US foreign policy on the Syrian crisis. She has also published two edited volumes on the Obama administration and continuity in US foreign policy.
