Associate Lecturer in Sociology and Public Health, Sheffield Hallam University

Associate Lecturer in Sociology and Public Health, Sheffield Hallam University I am an Associate Lecturer in Sociology and Public Health. My research interests include sexualities, sexual expression, sexual health/well-being, gender, the body, intersectional feminism and feminist research principles. My PhD research is titled ‘A Qualitative Exploration of Women’s Sexual Expression’. The study is underpinned by intersectional feminist debates on re-claiming sexuality and gender expression within patriarchal Western socio-political climates. Utilising feminist research principles and storytelling methods, the project aims to listen to and empower self-identifying women’s stories, experiences and perceptions.

Casey Bryce

Senior Lecturer, School of Earth Sciences, University of Bristol

Senior Lecturer, School of Earth Sciences, University of Bristol Casey Bryce is a geomicrobiologist and biogeochemist at the University of Bristol. She studies the role of microorganisms in the environment to better understand how they influence the Earth system. In particular she combines methods from geochemistry, microbiology and molecular ecology to understand microbial communities in peatlands. She studies how these microbial communities change during peatland disturbance, for example during thawing of permafrost, drainage or restoration. She uses this information to better constrain how changes in peatlands will impact greenhouse gas emissions, and to design strategies for monitoring and improving peatland recovery.

Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences, Binghamton University, State University of New York

Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences, Binghamton University, State University of New York I'm interested in the natural history, ecology, and evolution of insects' interactions with plants, animals, and changing environments. Much of my research focuses on shelter-building caterpillars and the invertebrates that interact with them, but my FRI students work on a wide range of global change projects. I'm currently investigating how invertebrate communities that live in shelters will respond to warming temperatures. I'm also interested in how herbarium specimens can be used to investigate plant-insect interactions.
