Scientist, National Radio Astronomy Observatory I am an astronomer at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in Charlottesville, Virginia. I study the formation of protostars, proto-planetary disks, and multiple star systems using radio telescopes like the Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA) and the Very Large Array (VLA), and infrared telescopes like the James Webb Space Telescope. I also work on improving the procedures and algorithms for automated processing of radio astronomy data to help scientists use radio telescopes more efficiently.
