Ocean-Ice Modeller, British Antarctic Survey Kaitlin Naughten is an ocean modeller specialising in ice shelf, ocean, and sea ice interactions around Antarctica. Her research primarily focuses on the response of Antarctic ice shelves to climate change, and the implications for global sea level rise. She has experience with a large variety of ocean, sea ice, ice sheet, and coupled climate models. She co-developed ÚaMITgcm, one of the world’s first successful coupled ice-sheet/ocean models, and is now developing ice-sheet/ocean coupling in the UK Earth System Model.
Senior Scientist, Carbon Cycle Modeller, GNS Science I am a Senior Scientist at GNS Science in Lower Hutt, New Zealand. I have worked as a postdoc at the Geomar Helmholtz Centre for Ocean Research in Kiel, Germany. I hold a PhD in Climate Science from the Climate Change Research Centre, University of New South Wales, Sydney, Australia. I have a MSc. in Atmospheric Science from the University of Victoria in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. I have a BSc. in Environmental Science from Indiana University Bloomington, Indiana, USA.
PhD Student in Chemistry, Colorado State University Katherine's research interests include organic synthesis, polymer chemistry and sustainable chemistry.
Research Associate, Brandeis University I am the first Interfaith Specialist at the United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism, the umbrella organization of over 500 congregations across North America. I is also a research associate at the Hadassah-Brandeis Institute at Brandeis University, where I've taught American Studies. Previously, I was the inaugural director of the Interfaith Families Jewish Engagement graduate program at Hebrew College. My pioneering books, Still Jewish: A History of Women & Intermarriage in America (NYU Press 2009), a National Jewish Book Award Finalist, and Marrying Out: Jewish Men, Intermarriage, and Fatherhood (Indiana University Press 2014), provided groundbreaking analyses about Jewish continuity by focusing on gender and change over time. My advice & opinions have appeared in the Forward, Lilith & Moment magazines, the New York Jewish Week, RitualWell, Sh’ma, the Times of Israel & eJewishPhilanthropy. I earned a PhD in History from Brown University and was the Mandell L. Berman Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Contemporary American Jewish Life at the University of Michigan’s Frankel Center for Judaic Studies. I am a 2018 Forward 50 honoree for my clarion call for a Jewish response to the #MeToo movement, named on Lilith magazine’s “7 Jewish Feminist Highlights of 2018” list and was a JewishBoston “Top Pick.” My new book is #UsToo: How Jewish, Muslim, and Christian Women Changed Our Communities (Routledge 2023)." I served as an Ombud on the Committee on Sexual Misconduct of the Association for Jewish Studies and as a Board Member of the Association for the Social Scientific Study of Jewry. I currently serve on the Academic Advisory Council of the Jewish Women’s Archive. When not roughing it in the woods of Maine, I live in Brookline, MA. Postdoctoral Associate in Ecology, University of Colorado Boulder Dr. Kyra Clark-Wolf is a Postdoctoral Associate in Ecology in CIRES at CU Boulder, studying ecological transformation in a context of changing climate and disturbance regimes. Kyra’s research interests integrate perspectives from paleoecology, fire ecology, and ecosystem ecology. At the NC CASC, Kyra is working on the development of ecological scenarios given uncertainty in future climate to inform resource management using the Resist, Accept, Direct (RAD) framework. Her dissertation work utilized lake-sediment records to understand fire-climate-ecosystem interactions over centuries to millennia in Rocky Mountain subalpine forests. She has also led research in recent wildfires investigating post-fire conifer seedling demographic processes and relationships with microclimate conditions. Kyra received a B.A. in Environmental Science from Colorado College and a Ph.D. in Systems Ecology from the University of Montana.
Research Associate at York Law School, University of York Kit Colliver is a Research Associate at the York Law School, University of York. Their research interests include housing and homelessness, local government, and normative perspectives in social policy.
