Postdoctoral Fellow of Psychology, Stockholm University I am a psychologist, PhD in developmental psychology, and currently work as a post-doctoral fellow at the department. I have worked at the department since 2018, but have collaborated with researchers at the department for more than a decade (Pehr Granqvist, Lilianne Eninger). I previously worked as an associate professor as well, but my current position is mainly focused on research. I am (co)supervising two PhD students (Mårten Hammarlund, Freja Isohanni).
Senior Lecturer in English, University of Cape Coast Theresah Patrine Ennin is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of English, College of Humanities and Legal Studies at the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, where she teaches and engages in research in African literature, Literary theory, Masculinities, and Literary and artistic constructions of gender and sex. She is also a research fellow at the University of South Africa, UNISA. She obtained her PhD in African Languages and Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2013 in the USA where she was a Fulbright Scholar. Currently, she is a member of the African Literature Association, the African Studies Association and the Modern Languages Association. Her academic awards include an ASA Presidential Fellows Award and an ACLS/African Humanities Program Fellowship. She has been a guest speaker at the University of the Western Cape in South Africa, The University of South Africa and Iowa State University in the USA, and she has published in Journals such as the West Africa Review, Spectrum: A Journal on Black Men, Research in African Literatures and the African Studies Quarterly. Dr Ennin is the author of the book, Men Across Time: Contesting Masculinities in Ghanaian Fiction and Film (2022), published by NISC.
PhD Candidate, History, University of Hertfordshire Tionne Alliyah Parris is a PhD candidate at the University of Hertfordshire. She specializes in African American protest history, with emphasis on the Black Power Movement of the 1960s and 1970s. Her PhD research focuses on Black Radical Women (namely Communist and communist-affiliated activists) of the mid-20th Century, and the long-term impact of their activism on the Black Power Movement. Parris is also a coordinator and researcher at the Young Historians Project – a non-profit organization in the United Kingdom that aims to encourage youths of African and Caribbean heritage to study history in Britain. This organization produces a range of historical projects which focus on enriching public knowledge of Black British History.
Professor of International Relations, Jean Monnet Professor of European Security, National University Odesa Law Academy Tetyana Malyarenko is Professor of International Security and Jean Monnet Professor of European Security at the National University ‘Odesa Law Academy’, Ukraine. She is the founder and director of the Ukrainian Institute for Crisis Management and Conflict Resolution, and has held visiting positions at Johns Hopkins University, the Wilson Centre for International Scholars, the University of California, Berkeley, the University of Granada, the University of Tromso, and the University of Gothenburg. An expert on post-conflict and post-authoritarian transitions, she is the author of numerous books, book chapters, and journal articles in Ukrainian, English, and Russian. Malyarenko earned her Masters, Candidate of Science, and Doctor of Science Degrees from Donetsk State University of Management. Her main research areas of interests include societal and economic aspects of security in transition states, human security and good governance, social conflicts and civil wars. Dr. Malyarenko’s publications to date include five books and over fifty journal articles and book chapters, including research on competing self-determination movements in Crimea and peace and security in post-Soviet states.
