flatexDEGIRO SE's preliminary third-quarter results showed earnings strength alongside slower account intake, with net profit rising and gross additions falling from a year earlier as the broker kept its full-year forecast.

Net profit increased 29.2% to €50.3 million from €39 million, while revenue advanced 13.8% to €150.3 million from €132 million. Operating profit climbed 22.9% to €70.8 million.

The broker recorded 74,300 gross new accounts, compared with 100,100 in the third quarter of 2025, a 25.7% decline. Its total customer accounts reached 3.72 million, up 10% year over year. Assets under custody grew 22.6% to €112.7 billion from €91.9 billion.

Customer acquisition cost averaged €88, up 45.5% from €60 a year earlier. Interest income reached €55.9 million, up 32.8%; commission income was €89.4 million after a 5.9% increase. Settled transactions increased 8.2% to 19.2 million.

For the first nine months of 2026, revenue totaled €490.4 million, 19.5% higher than a year earlier, and net profit reached €165.4 million, up 37.2%. Its 2026 forecast remains revenue of approximately €650 million and net profit between €200 million and €230 million.

Oliver Behrens, CEO and Chairman of the Management Board, said, “Even in a seasonally slower quarter, we continued our growth and further increased profitability.”

flatexDEGIRO applied IFRS 18 for 2026, although compliance is not mandatory until fiscal years beginning Jan. 1, 2027. Its interim report says the accounting change shifted some income-statement items but left total revenue and net profit intact. The company also used IFRS 18 for the year-earlier third-quarter comparison. The quarterly figures have not yet been audited.
