moBUinet Launches Social Network Platform For Digital Currency Community

moBUinet, that describes itself as “the home for all digital currencies - where individuals, communities and businesses can come together to interact and transact”, has announced the launch of the first social network platform specifically designed for the digital currency community. It currently supports Bitcoin, WorldLeadCurrency, Auroracoin and Europecoin.

“The platform aims to increase the adoption and usage of cryptocurrencies, so they will finally be able to make a significant contribution towards the financial success of people and businesses alike”, moBUinet said.

Initially, the moBUinet team set out to create a new coin based on robust economic principles. However, on discovering that that the key issue with all digital currencies was their lack of adoption and usage, they turned their focus to solve this problem by building an ecosystem where all coins could be meaningfully used.

However, the team’s original concept – moBUinet Digital Scrip (mDS) – is still part of the offering. moBUinet explains that mDS is not a cryptocurrency, but rather an internal network voucher that can be used by everyone to get a feel of how a digital currency world would work.

The platform will enable individuals, businesses and communities to showcase and promote their offering (e.g. idea, campaign, business, etc). Moreover, users will be able to find and connect with other individuals and businesses, who accept the digital currency of their choice, to build a network within which they can interact and transact.

By being able to promote their offering, individuals will be able to spend digital currencies within the ecosystem as well as earn them, using the network. Businesses can benefit from the network as they can expand their operations by utilizing the networking functionality and reach the verified digital currency consumer base on moBUinet.

Ilya Kuntsevich, economist, author and advisor to moBUinet, noted that the project “is changing the financial paradigm we live in today”.
