rhode placed third among cosmetics brands favored by U.S. teenage girls in Piper Sandler’s fall survey, adding a measure of the brand’s reach after it contributed about $160 million to e.l.f. Beauty’s quarterly sales.
e.l.f. Beauty reported net sales of $479.4 million for the three months ended June 30, 2026, up 36%. On the company’s earnings call, Chief Financial Officer Mandy Fields put rhode’s contribution at approximately $160 million. She cited retailer demand and a summer launch through rhode’s website as factors behind the brand’s sales.
The survey ranking measures a different aspect of rhode’s business from its sales contribution: preference among the teenage girls surveyed. DECA, Piper Sandler’s survey partner, had scheduled data collection to end Sept. 23. A week after that scheduled date, rhode expanded its Sephora distribution into 19 additional European countries. The brand’s Sephora rollout reached the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom in 2025.
e.l.f. Beauty completed its acquisition of rhode on Aug. 5, 2025. When the deal was announced, the company described an initial $800 million cash-and-stock package, subject to adjustments, and possible additional payments of up to $200 million tied to rhode’s performance. Fields said e.l.f. Beauty expected its first performance-linked payment later in 2026.
