viLogics earns HIPAA and SOC 2 data security compliance after demanding third-party exams by 360 Advanced

EBENSBURG, Pa., Nov. 22, 2016 -- viLogics, a trusted IT solutions provider with more than 20 years’ experience in information technology and data center services, has completed rigorous examinations of its data security processes to achieve compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Service Organization Controls 2 Type 1 (SOC 2) standards.

The demanding third-party examinations were administered by the professional IT assurance and compliance staff at 360 Advanced, a respected national Qualified Security Assessor, HITRUST CSF Assessor and Certified Public Accountant firm based in St. Petersburg, FL.

The SOC 2 report attests to the effectiveness of the data management controls a company has in place that relate to security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy.  The HIPAA audit reflects viLogics’ demonstration of adherence to federally-required standards for the privacy of protected health information, the security of electronic protected health information, and breach notification to consumers.
