By the time gamers are reading this, “Apex Legends” season 6 has already been released and they will finally receive a slew of content updates making the game more thrilling. One of the highlights of the new season is the addition of the new Legend, who goes by the name Rampart. Developers have also tweaked the World’s Edge map that updates the plot progression relating to Hammond Industries.
‘Apex Legends’ season 6 delivers new Legend named Rampart
Rampart, whose real name is Ramya Parekh, is a young British Indian business owner who has a penchant in modding weapons and defensive equipment. Gamers will see her sporting a backpack where she keeps scrap metals to do what she loves most in the middle of the action in the Outlands. The new “Apex Legends” character has a favorite minigun that she named Sheila.
The newest addition to the “Apex Legends” roster arrives with the passive ability Modded Loader allowing her LMGs and Minigun to have higher magazine capacity than normal. They also have faster reload times in Rampart’s hands along with the capability to release more shots before the guns overheat.
Thanks to her modding skills, Rampart’s tactical skill is producing Amped Cover. As the name suggests, the new character in “Apex Legends” season 6 can make cover walls that fortify her defense while also strengthening her attacks. Rampart can crouch behind the wall for cover as it stops incoming bullets while increasing the damage on outgoing shots. Note that Rampart can only make 5 Amped Covers at once.
‘Apex Legends’ season 6 arrives with updates on World’s Edge map
Players should expect several changes the next time they visit World’s Edge while also anticipating Hammond Industries to still occupy the place. New areas have been added to the map in “Apex Legends” season 6 that is also linked to the “nefarious” company’s recent activities.
A former empty lava field now houses the Launch Site where a rocket ship has also been placed. This will serve as a new drop location starting “Apex Legends” season 6 with plenty of loot to collect and “four large control rooms” to man.
Hammond Industries also changed the original Drill Site with a new area called the Countdown where players will find three huge blast walls and more control rooms. “Apex Legends” season 6 went live Tuesday on all platforms.
