SAN RAMON, Calif., Nov. 03, 2016 -- Armanino LLP, the largest independent accounting and business consulting firm based in California, announced that its managing partner, Andy Armanino, was named to INSIDE Public Accounting’s (IPA) 2016 Most Admired Peer list. Each year, IPA surveys more than 500 firm leaders to name one peer they admire in the profession. Andy Armanino was among the five accounting profession leaders named most frequently by their colleagues.
“These leaders are well‐known to CPAs across the country because they are committed to sharing their knowledge and advocating for the profession,” says Kelly Platt, principal of the Platt Group. “They run successful firms, and not just in a financial sense. They lead strong, unified teams, give back to their communities and continually look for new ways to help their clients succeed.”
Andy Armanino has appeared on the Most Admired Peer list in five of the past six years, and will participate in the Most Admired Peer panel at IPA’s PRIME Symposium in Scottsdale, Arizona on November 17, 2016. The panel will discuss challenges and opportunities in the accounting profession and feature thoughts on the November election.
“It’s an honor to receive any professional award, but to win one voted on by my peers is even more special because they understand the hard work and dedication needed to succeed in public accounting,” said Andy Armanino, managing partner of Armanino LLP and Most Admired Peer honoree. “I share this award with everyone at Armanino, who make the continued growth and success of the firm possible.”
The Most Admired Peers will be featured in IPA’s December issue and the 2016 list can be found here: http://blog.insidepublicaccounting.com/2016/10/the-2016-most-admired-peers/
