It’s safe to say that the story of “Attack on Titan” is shaping up to be an even more disheartening and gruesome one thanks to recent developments. With Eren betraying his former friends, having his teacher beaten, and turning former fellow soldiers into Titans, the main protagonist seems beyond redemption. However, there are still many mysteries and questions that remain in “Attack on Titan” Chapter 114. These include Zeke’s true mission and what Eren has in store for Historia.
As TheAnimeScrolls notes in its coverage of the manga’s previous chapter, Levi successfully defeated Zeke even though he was transformed and had a lot of other Titans to help him. These Titans were the Survey Corp.’s soldiers, as well, so the emotional toll that it exacted on the group’s strongest fighter was not light. Even so, he chose to fight and recaptured his prisoner, as a result. Unfortunately for him, “Attack on Titan” Chapter 114 might make his situation worse.
It would appear that Zeke’s brother Eren has the upper hand by basically taking over the military in Paradis. After destroying his image in front of Armin and Mikasa, he proceeded to commit one form of violence after another to solidify his position. In “Attack on Titan” Chapter 114, he might even commit one of the most atrocious acts imaginable by killing Historia.
Of course, he would need to find the last remaining royal first, which is likely to be part of his plans. Then again, this is all just speculation since the details of “Attack on Titan” Chapter 114 have yet to be revealed. It could just as easily be that the Marleyan army will invade Paradis in the next chapter.
Fans will simply have to wait until the first week of February to find out more. That’s when “Attack on Titan” Chapter 114 is expected to come out.
