Following the success of “Avengers: Infinity War,” fans are now speculating on what’s going to be the title of the next film. The Russo brother recently gave a hint on this front after they posted a black-and-white image on Instagram with the caption “look harder.”
At first glance, there’s not much to go by the photo. As one looks closer, however, there is a couple of things that immediately jump out, IGN reported. One of which is the group of letters on the backdrop with the letter “A” the most prominent. Could it be that the title for “Avengers 4” is “Avengers: Assemble?”
It’s possible. And given how “Avengers: Infinity War” ended, a solid rally is sorely needed to unite the remaining heroes after half of the ensemble was turned to dust. While it’s obvious that “Avengers 4” is looking to counteract this catastrophe, it’s still unclear how the Russo brothers are going to handle it.
In the comics, the remaining heroes regrouped and took on Thanos head-on. It was a one-sided fight, of course, since the Mad Titan already wielded all the Infinity Stones. But it wasn’t just the Avengers that challenged Thanos as even Galactus and other overly powered entities united to put down the Mad Titan. Now, this could be another clue as to the title of “Avengers 4” as Eternity was among those that responded to the threat.
And since there’s a letter E that can be spotted on the right side of the image, another possible title of the next film could be “Avengers: Eternal” or “Avengers: Eternity.” This plays well with the previously leaked image that hinted at the title of “Avengers 4.”
After it spread like wildfire on the web, the said image has now been deleted. Fortunately, a lot of people saved the photo, which contained these words: Aftermath of Obliteration of Eternity. Of course, this is just speculation at this point and only the Russo Brothers and a few select individuals know exactly what “Avengers 4” is going to be called.
Whatever the case, fans can expect another round of Thanos versus the remaining Avengers in the upcoming sequel, slated for release on April 26, 2019. Who knows, maybe Galactus and Eternity will even make an appearance in the next film, although the chances of that happening are pretty slim.
