(“BTI”) (Nasdaq:BTAI), a clinical stage biopharmaceutical development company utilizing novel artificial intelligence to identify the next wave of medicines across neuroscience and immuno-oncology, today announced the closing of its initial public offering of 5,454,545 shares of common stock at a public offering price of $11.00 per share, before underwriting discounts and commissions. BTI raised approximately $60.0 million in gross proceeds from the offering, before underwriting discounts and commissions and other offering-related expenses. In addition, BTI has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 818,181 shares of common stock at the initial public offering price. BTI’s common stock began trading on the Nasdaq Capital Market on March 8, 2018 under the ticker symbol “BTAI”.
