Bishop Fox admitted Rob Ragan and Andrew Wilson to the firm’s partnership, giving Ragan and Wilson ownership in the rapidly growing firm, which specializes in penetration testing, product security, red teaming, and cloud security.
Ragan has been with the firm since 2009 and works closely with Fortune 1000 clients to develop tailored security solutions and solve technical security challenges. He is regularly cited in media outlets and has presented research at top conferences including Black Hat, DEF CON, and RSA.
“Nine years ago, Rob joined Bishop Fox and since then he’s developed into a first-class consultant and well-recognized security expert,” said Vincent Liu, managing partner at Bishop Fox. “Through his work ethic and integrity, he’s earned the respect of our clients and his colleagues alike. Rob’s technical excellence, grit, and commitment are the qualities that we look for in a Bishop Fox partner. I speak for us all when I say that we are proud to welcome him to the firm as a partner.”
"This is a tremendous honor," said Ragan. "It is a privilege to help grow the firm with the partners and entire Bishop Fox team.”
Andrew Wilson joined Bishop Fox in 2012 and oversees the consulting practice. He is also the founder of CactusCon, the largest security conference in Arizona, and is a sought‑after speaker having presented at several major security conferences.
“Andrew has been an integral part of Bishop Fox since he joined our firm,” said founding partner Francis Brown. “He’s a natural leader and I had no doubts around his ability to lead the consulting practice. He has continued to earn the respect of those around him – team members, clients, and peers.”
“I am thankful to have found a place like Bishop Fox,” said Wilson. “A firm where I could invest my time and energy into high-quality results for our clients, and one that treats each other fairly and with respect. I am humbled to be recognized as someone who both represents the firm, and is entrusted to carry on the integrity and quality of our work.”
The promotion of Rob Ragan and Andrew Wilson to partner was officially announced at the company’s annual Team Weekend retreat, which took place in Santa Barbara, CA.
