In the previous chapter of “Boruto,” it was shown that Koji had finally found Kawaki. Many assumed that the Kara member would then proceed to kidnap the missing vessel and bring him back to his group. However, a recent “Boruto” Chapter 30 leak revealed that Koji might have switched his target to Boruto instead. At least, this is what the details seem to imply with the Kara member approaching the young ninja and his friends.
If there is any truth to this particular leak, it could prove to be disastrous news for a few reasons. Had Kawaki been the only target for kidnapping in “Boruto” Chapter 30, the situation would have been relatively simple to deal with. Naruto would just need to fight Koji while keeping the vessel out of his hands, and there would less risk of other casualties.
Koji approaching Boruto while he is with his friends in “Boruto” Chapter 30, however, is another matter altogether. This not only places the young ninja in danger but it does the same for his friends, as well. What’s more, with genins from Konoha being involved, there is a bigger chance of escalation when the fight starts. After all, the ninjas of the village won’t just allow one of their own to be kidnapped in plain sight.
On that note, there is no guarantee that Koji will even kidnap Boruto in “Boruto” Chapter 30. The leak could simply refer to the Kara member speaking to the young ninja to learn more about him or to give him a warning. This isn’t likely to be well-received, however, especially if Boruto recognizes Koji for what he is.
To find out what really happens, readers will simply have to wait for “Boruto” Chapter 30 to be released. That would be on Dec. 22. Fortunately, it’s only a few more days until then.
