The long-awaited end to the Mitsuki arc is finally here, after such an extended period of time watching Boruto and Co. doing something completely unrelated to the main story. With “Boruto” Episode 91 being the final episode of the arc, fans can finally look forward to a new one to provide them with actual good content. Before this happens, though, Onoki will need to deal with Ku and could die in the process.
After everything that has happened in this arc, it’s only fitting that Onoki should be the one to end it in “Boruto” Episode 91. As TheAnimeScrolls reports, the upcoming episode will feature a battle to the death between the old ninja and his creation. The question now is who will die. Will it be Onoki or Ku or both?
Before this happens, though, Ku will first appear before Boruto and his friends as they try to make their way home. After finally reuniting with Mitsuki, the young ninjas have nothing more to do in the Hidden Stone village. It would seem that Ku has a different opinion on the matter and will try to goad the genins into a fight in “Boruto” Episode 91.
None of them will be a match for Ku, so it will be up to Onoki to finish the fight. Although old, the legendary ninja can still fight, and he will be more than capable of taking down his puppet. This is basically the old Frankenstein route, where the creator of the monster takes responsibility and destroys it. It’s a more fitting way to end the arc in “Boruto” Episode 91.
As to when “Boruto” Episode 91 will be airing, viewers can look forward to saying farewell to the Mitsuki arc on Jan. 28. This is a long way coming and now fans can feel excited about the new events to come.
