BRIGHTON, Colo., Oct. 30, 2016 -- New optometrist, Dr. Danny Sanchez, will join the vision care team at Brighton Eye Associates. Dr. Sanchez, a Brighton, Colorado native, graduated in 2016 with his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry, where he received the highest possible clinical marks. While in school, he also became a lifetime member of the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society and was honored with a Student Fellowship by the American Academy of Optometry. Additionally, Dr. Sanchez is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Colorado Optometric Association.
Prior to earning his doctorate, Dr. Danny Sanchez obtained his Bachelor of Science at Colorado State University. Dr. Sanchez is a first generation Mexican American who fluently speaks both English and Spanish. He is comfortable performing eye examinations in both languages, providing a great service to the greater Brighton community.
This is not the first time that Sanchez has worked for Brighton Eye Associates. Long-time patients may remember him as a high school sophomore when he assisted Drs. Ron and Rodney Fair. This experience sparked Dr. Sanchez's interest in eye care, and motivated him to pursue his degree in optometry. He is an avid sports and music enthusiast and lifelong supporter of the Denver Broncos.
“I am excited to have Dr. Sanchez join our team as an optometrist,” said Dr. Rodney D. Fair. “I have known Dr. Sanchez for many years and I am delighted by his dedication to the study of optometry and his passion for providing the best eye care possible to our patients. For me his return to Brighton Eye Associates is welcoming back family.”
