RESTON, Va., Jan. 16, 2018 -- Carahsoft Technology Corp., The Trusted Government IT Solutions Provider™, today announced that the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) has named Carahsoft as a facilitating partner for an enterprise-wide blanket purchasing agreement through the U.S. military’s Enterprise Software Initiative (ESI) program. Under the agreement, Carahsoft will serve as a distributor to the DoD for software and services from ForeScout Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:FSCT), a leading Internet of Things (IoT) security company. This BPA is open for ordering by the DoD and related agencies on a world-wide basis.
This agreement provides ForeScout software, maintenance and support for DoD, Intelligence Communities and Coast Guard activities worldwide. The products offered through the BPA include ForeScout CounterAct® agentless security solutions, Enterprise Manager and Extended Modules for third-party orchestration, as well as ControlFabric® Architecture, ForeScout training and ActiveCare® support services.
Carahsoft will support ForeScout’s blanket purchase agreement award by leveraging its sales, marketing and contract management capabilities. In addition to other activities, the company will provide regular training webcasts covering contract terms, available software and updates and a dedicated web resource for the contract and relevant information.
“With the addition of ForeScout to our cybersecurity offerings, we are able to deliver device visibility across both traditional IT infrastructures and unmanaged OT device environments for DoD customers and reseller partners,” said Alex Whitworth, Sales Director at Carahsoft. “We can’t protect what they can’t see, and ForeScout solves that problem. This blanket purchasing agreement will help expand the reach and impact of ForeScout’s product deployments within the military and throughout the partner ecosystem.”
DoD ESI is an official initiative sponsored by the DoD Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead in the establishment and management of enterprise Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) IT agreements, assets and policies. DoD ESI lowers the total cost of ownership across the DoD, Coast Guard and Intelligence Communities for commercial software, IT hardware and services.
ForeScout solutions are immediately available for purchase through Carahsoft’s GSA Schedule No. GS-35F-0119Y under the blanket purchase agreement. For more information, contact the ForeScout team at Carahsoft at 1-833-FSCT-GOV or [email protected]; or visit ForeScout’s booth #2222 in the Carahsoft Pavilion at AFCEA West on February 6-8, 2018 in San Diego, CA.
