Carrie Underwood just gave birth to her second child and this officially makes her a mom of two boys. The singer welcomed her son with Mike Fisher on Jan. 21 and she is just too happy about it. Two days after giving birth, the 35-year-old shared the happy news to her fans via social media.
"Jacob Bryan Fisher entered the world in the wee hours of the morning on Monday," Carrie Underwood wrote. "His mom, dad and big brother couldn’t be happier for God to trust them with taking care of this little miracle! Our hearts are full, our eyes are tired and our lives are forever changed. Life is good."
She also attached three photos of her new bundle of joy. The first photo shows Jacob Bryan in the arms of his dad while the singer cuddles her son in the second snap. For the third picture, Carrie Underwood’s eldest son, 3-year-old Isaiah Michael holds his little brother while Mike Fisher looks on.
On the other hand, Mike Fisher also post a heartfelt message as his second son is born. On Instagram, he called Jacob Bryan a “miracle baby” and thanked God for giving them the chance to have another child despite the challenges they faced.
“Jacob Bryan Fisher! You are a gift from our Lord!” Carrie Underwood’s husband wrote. “The last few years has had its challenges and it makes this moment even sweeter!”
He added, “God is in control and his timing is perfect! He is good all the time even in the difficult times that are hard to understand.”
Carrie Underwood and Mike Fisher’s statements are understandable because they had experienced miscarriages before Jacob came to their lives. The baby is indeed a miracle baby that came to them at the perfect time.
