The end of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s manga series is happening in a few days with the release of “Chainsaw Man” chapter 97. However, fans of the series will have more content to look forward to even after the manga ends.
‘Chainsaw Man’ chapter 97 spoilers, leaks: How the manga is going to end
“Chainsaw Man” chapter 97 spoilers indicate that the finale will open with Denji reporting to Kishibe what happened after he consumed Makima’s remains and that she was not revived. However, Kishibe appears to be more curious about how Denji managed to kill Makima.
The summary of leaks mentions that Denji considers his intention to kill Makima as motivated by love and not by the mere desire of causing her harm. Denji also explains in “Chainsaw Man” chapter 97, he deduced Makima only remembers the smell of people to whom she is interested. Since Makima has only been wanting to be with Chainsaw Man and not Denji per se, he figured a way to attack her.
What is interesting in the “Chainsaw Man” chapter 97 leaks is a panel where a girl, who Kishibe brought from China, bites Denji the way Makima used to. Kishibe is bringing her to Denji to look after her after realizing that she is the reborn Control Devil. Some fans think this opens the possibility for the manga to get a sequel, although there is no confirmation about the manga’s continuation in any form at this point.

Fans might also be even more excited with the fact the MAPPA is the studio producing the series. MAPPA has been receiving plenty of praises recently for its work so far on the first season of “Jujutsu Kaisen” and the final installment of “Attack on Titan.” The first anime teaser for “Chainsaw Man” is likely to be released during Jump Festa on Dec. 19-20.
