Channing Tatum and Jessie J’s dating status was only confirmed a month ago but false reports about their relationship are already cropping up non-stop. Although some of them were already debunked, there are still others that needed to be addressed. In any case, here are some of the bogus write-ups that were published about the couple.
First, it was said that Channing Tatum is planning to propose to Jessie J this Christmas. As mentioned on EconoTimes, a tabloid alleged that the 38-year-old actor is ready to walk down the aisle again so he is set to ask his girlfriend to marry him before the year ends.
However, this was debunked as there is no evidence to prove the claim. Besides, the couple is not even dating that long yet and obviously, Channing Tatum would not make a rushed decision, especially this time around. He has been married before and surely, he does not want to commit the same mistake again.
Gossip Cop also debunked a story that stated Channing Tatum and Jessie J are already looking for a house to live in together. What’s more, the couple is allegedly hunting for a home in London where they are planning to settle.
The fact-checking site pointed out that Channing Tatum has a 5-year-old daughter with his ex-wife Jenna Dewan and they have a joint physical and legal custody of the child. With this arrangement, it is hard to believe that the actor would choose to live far from his child whom he cherished very much thus this is another false report.
Lastly, Channing Tatum and Jessie J are not living in together. It was claimed only last month that the former asked his girlfriend to move in with him in his LA home.
A source alleged that the actor does not want to live alone so he asked the singer to live with him. “Channing hates living alone, and contrary to some of the stories out there, he’s not much of a player,” the source said.
At any rate, although Channing Tatum and Jessie J are said to be very fond of each other, the two are still in a stage where they are getting to know each other more. They may get married and live together in the future but it will not happen soon.
