Donald Trump mocked: POTUS faces backlash after ranting about coronavirus situation on Twitter

President Donald Trump has often been criticized for his handling of the coronavirus to the extent that he has resorted to Twitter rants to get rid of his frustration. However, many were not happy with what they were hearing from the President, earning him a lot of criticism.

Trump went on a Twitter rant spree, perhaps out of panic following the news of the stock market experiencing a big drop with the Dow alone suffering from a loss of over 2,000 points due to the growing concern of the coronavirus or COVID-19 in the United States. Trump went to blame the media and the Democrats for making the coronavirus an even bigger deal. “The Fake News Media and their partner, the Democrat Party, is doing everything within its semi-considerable power (it used to be greater!) to inflame the CoronaVirus situation, far beyond what the facts would warrant. Surgeon General, “The risk is low to the average American” tweeted Trump.

Many were outraged at his remarks and in turn, had some choice words to say to the President and how he was taking this problem. “Trump lied on Feb 25 saying the #coronavirus was NOT spreading, he lied Friday saying the US had enough virus test kits, he lied that virus would end in April with “heat,” he lied saying this was a “hoax.” Trump should be criminally charged!” said radio show host Dean Obeidallah.

Another commenter also pointed out that the Gates Foundation is providing tests for the virus compared to the lack of tests provided by the Trump administration.

The rest of his tweets involved blasting the Obama/Biden administration once again, calling them the most corrupt administration in the country’s history. That claim also earned him a lot of backlash from the public. Watchdog group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics Washington responded to this claim by pointing out that since Trump was sworn into office in 2017, he racked up to 3,000 conflicts of interest.

It was also revealed how he overcharged the Secret Service from their stays at the Trump properties and his retaliation on officials who simply followed the subpoenas during his Impeachment trials to name a few. Netizens immediately presented Trump with evidence of his own misdeeds and comparisons as to what occurred in the Obama/Biden administration compared to what is currently happening.
