A Tesla Cybertruck, wrapped for EMS use, has been spotted in New Jersey, highlighting its entry into emergency services.
EMS Cybertruck Spotted in New Jersey
What appears to be the first-ever emergency medical service (EMS) wrap on a Tesla Cybertruck has just surfaced, marking the latest instance of an electric vehicle (EV) being modified for usage in emergency services.
Wrapped in red, white, and blue, with a siren mounted on top and text describing it as an emergency vehicle, the EMS Cybertruck was first seen in New Jersey on Friday and Monday, when they were uploaded separately on Reddit.
Additional lettering in both Hebrew and English is featured on the Cybertruck, which was supposedly donated to the Lakewood ambulance service Hatzulas Nefashos.
"Donated in memory of the Kedoshim killed on October 7th." The wrapped Cybertruck reads near the rear bumper.
Cybertruck for Emergency Use
According to Teslarati, this electric vehicle is the most recent instance of a Cybertruck that has been wrapped and circulated online; it is also the most recent instance of such a vehicle being modified for use in emergency situations. Unplugged Performance's Up.Fit fleet vehicle business debuted a wrapped Cybertruck police vehicle earlier this month in Greenfield, California, complete with police equipment.
A second Cybertruck police vehicle, this one adorned with a green and white law enforcement wrap and the Dubai police logo, went online in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, last month. In January, officials in Rosenberg, Texas, posted on X, drawing attention to the fact that CEO Elon Musk had previously indicated his belief that local agencies should switch to employing the Cybertruck.
Tesla Increases Cybertruck Production
Recently, Tesla surpassed the one-year anniversary of the first pre-production Cybertruck constructed at Gigafactory Texas. The business has been increasing manufacturing of the unique electric vehicle (EV) in the past few months.
In their most recent earnings call for the second quarter of 2024, Tesla said that Cybertruck production had increased by more than 100% sequentially, with a total of "greater than 125,000 units" produced by the end of the year.
