“Fuller House” season 4 is set to happen and filming for the new episodes is almost over. Yes, the Tanners have reunited and together they will bring more laughter for their avid viewers.
There will be big improvements and changes on the show, but probably the most significant is Candace Cameron Bure’s (DJ Tanner) directorial debut. It was revealed that she will be trying her hand in directing and she will do it in “Fuller House” season 4.
In her interview with E! News, she gave details about her new job and, of course, she also dropped some spoilers to get the fans excited. The 42-year-old actress also shared her excitement about her first directing gig via social media.
“Wow. This was an incredible course and I’m so excited to be a first time director!” she simply wrote on Instagram.
DJ and Steve
When she had a chat with E! News, Candace disclosed that DJ Tanner and Steve Hale (Scott Weinger) are finally back together for real. This was one of the fans’ wishes and it appears the showrunners heard them well and it happened.
"I like watching and I hope the fans enjoy actually watching that relationship develop more," Candace said.
Kimmy is Pregnant
Kimmy agreed to carry Stephanie’s child in her womb and her pregnancy will be a focus of “Fuller House” season 4. While the story is centered on Kimmy in general, the series will feature the Tanners' adventures as they cope with the growth of their family.
Cast
Candace Cameron Bure will surely be in “Fuller House” season 4 and the rest of the cast members are Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie Tanner), Andrea Barber (Kimmy Gibbler), Michael Champion (Jackson Fuller), Elias Harger (Max Fuller) and Soni Bringas (Ramona Gibbler). Unfortunately, Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone), John Stamos (Jesse Katsopolis) and his on-screen wife Lori Loughlin (Rebecca Donaldson Katsopolis) are not returning as regulars. However, they will still be seen from time to time.
New Cast Addition
“Fuller House” season 4 has signed up a new cast member. TV Line reported that former “Wizards of Waverly Place” star Maria Canals Barrera is joining the show as Fernando Hernandez-Guerrero’s mom.
Release Date
Although the cast and crew are almost done with “Fuller House” season 4 filming, Netflix has not released its premiere date yet. If the predictions are right, it may arrive in October or early 2019.
