‘Fuller House’ Season 5 News & Update: Has Netflix Canceled the Series? Candace Cameron-Bure Refuses to Believe It

Fuller House

“Fuller House” season 5 was released in Dec. 14, 2018 and now fans would like to know if there would be another installment. There is no announcement yet with regards to the show’s renewal but there were speculations that Netflix is considering ending the series with just four seasons.

According to TV Line, the Tanners and Gibblers could be saying goodbye after season 4 because it learned that the streaming site is not keen on ordering more episodes that will make up “Fuller House” season 5. Now, since this info was just hearsays, the publication contacted Netflix to confirm if what they heard was true.

A representative answered TV Line’s query and he said that their company has not made any decisions yet regarding “Fuller House” season 5’s renewal. In other words, Netflix denied that it would ax the series because they have not discussed about it yet in the first place.

"No decision has been made about the future of Fuller House,” the rep told the publication. “We are looking forward to the premiere of Season 4 later this year.”

Moreover, in connection with this “Fuller House” season 5 cancellation rumors, Candace Cameron-Bure (D.J. Tanner) can’t believe that there are reports about their show being scrapped. This is because she is fully convinced that they will receive a green light for another run.

In her interview with E! News, Cameron-Bure revealed that this is the first time that she is hearing about the cancellation of “Fuller House” season 5 and said that it is not true at all. The actress went on to state that she is sure they will be back on set for more seasons to come.

"I don't know why or how that rumor got started," she told the magazine. "I think it was a slow news day and someone wanted to make more of it than it is."

The 42-year-old actress confidently added, "I have no doubt that we're going to be back for Season 5."

Meanwhile, “Fuller House” season 5 is still waiting for Netflix to confirm the renewal of the show. While the announcement is a bit late already, Candace Cameron-Bure may be right in saying that it will be renewed because base on the viewership ratings, it is one of the shows with the best numbers in audience shares.
