FxWirePro: USD/DKK hits 1-week low, outlook remains bearish

- The Danish Krone surged to a 1-week peak as the greenback eased against a basket of currencies.
- The dollar index eased as new cases and hospitalisations in record numbers rose through more U.S. states, especially in Latin America.
- Moreover, investors continued to digest yesterday's better-than-expected consumer confidence figures.
- The Danish consumer confidence index increased to -3.1 in June, due to an improvement in expectations regarding households' financial situation and general economic situation.
- USD/DKK is trading 0.3 percent down at 6.6037, having hit high of 6.6760 on Monday, its highest since June 2.
- Immediate resistance is located at 6.6554 (21-DMA), close above could take it till 6.6643 (21-EMA).
- On the downside, support is seen at 6.5794 and any break below will take it till 6.5670.
