The brief preview for “Grey’s Anatomy” season 15 episode 7 mainly focuses on Meredith and Koracick’s (Greg Germann) upcoming trip. They are seen flying to Los Angeles via a private plane and later meets with Catherine (Debbie Allen).
Catherine reveals to Meredith that there is another untold reason why the latter was asked to fly to LA. Later in the “Grey’s Anatomy” season 15 episode 7 preview, Catherine briefs Meredith and Koracick about a 65-year-old female patient suffering from a neck and back pain.
Those are the only details revealed for Meredith’s unknown patient. But many fans are guessing that Catherine might actually be referring to herself as the mystery patient in “Grey’s Anatomy” season 15 episode 7.
Fans on Reddit pick up several clues that could be suggesting Meredith is going to look after Catherine in “Grey’s Anatomy” season 15 episode 7. For one, the episode preview might be referring to Meredith’s upcoming case when the narrator says there is an imminent “crisis that will hit very close to home.”
Allen also recently teased a significant Catherine arc coming up this season. In an interview with TV Insider published on Nov. 1, the actress said, “There's a big episode for my character that starts next week.” Allen is apparently referring to “Grey’s Anatomy” season 15 episode 7.
Note how Allen said this major Catherine arc “starts” in “Grey’s Anatomy” season 15 episode 7. It most likely means there will be more to this storyline in the coming weeks.
Meanwhile, the “Grey’s Anatomy” season 15 episode 7 preview seems to be foreshadowing Jackson (Jesse Williams) confessing to cheating on Maggie (Kelly McCreary). The latter appears furious as she learns he is talking to other women. However, a fan suggests that this woman could just be Catherine or someone who knows about his mother's case.
Luckily fans will not have to wait long before learning who this mysterious patient is. “Grey’s Anatomy” season 15 episode 7 airs on Thursday, Nov. 8, at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
