Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale are divorced for four years now. While they are separated and have moved on with their respective partners, they are co-parenting their three sons - Kingston, Zuma and Apollo.
Now, there is a rumor that the “What You Waiting For” singer is fuming mad at her ex-husband as she lost her patience with him. The main cause was allegedly his thoughtless parenting style that led to their second son, Zuma’s injuries.
Gwen and Gavin’s allegedly relationship turned for the worst
In an article that was published on OK! Magazine titled "Gwen & Gavin's Parenting Spats," it was claimed that rather than getting better, the songstress relationship with her ex-husband has turned from bad to worse. When it comes to parenting, the former couple reportedly doesn’t share the same opinion. They don’t agree on how they should bring up and care for their sons.
“He’s very organic and kind of carefree, whereas Gwen’s a lot stricter,” the tipster told the tabloid. Gwen Stefani was said to have become even stricter and up in arms when Zuma got injured, breaking both of his arms when he was with his dad Gavin Rossdale.
“She wants the boys to be supervised a lot more when Gavin has them because she gets so worried when they're out of her sight," the source alleged. "She trusts Gavin's intentions, but they keep coming home banged up and bruised from all the rough-housing they do at his place and that's got Gwen tearing her hair out."
The truth about Gwen and Gavin’s spats over their parenting styles
It is true that Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale’s middle child was injured. Both of his arms broke but it did not happen at the same time. The child’s accidents took place weeks apart.
The first time it happened, it was revealed that Zuma fell from a chair and the second incident was when he was biking. He crashed and sustained an injury on his other arm. It was Gavin who took his son to the hospital and took care of him there.
On the allegation that Gwen Stefani is furious for their son’s injuries, this is not true and in fact, she was only grateful to her ex for taking care of Zuma in the way he should and even more than that.
"I'd be terrified if any of the other kids had to go through what he went through, 'cause he's by far the toughest," People quoted Gavin said of son after he was injured.
Gavin is clearly not a negligent father that would make Gwen upset. He takes care of his sons like how his ex-wife does so there is no issue between them when it comes to parenting. Finally, Gossip Cop already debunked a number of articles coming from OK! and this report is not an exemption for being bogus.
