Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin were rumored to be married for over a month but the two remained mum about it. It turns out, all it took for the couple to confirm their real relationship status was a fan randomly asking about it.
Lately, Baldwin and Bieber have been going out to the restaurant Joan’s on Third in Studio City to dine, which was the case on Tuesday morning. However, it was not a plain breakfast as it was reportedly the time when the couple finally confirmed that they are, indeed, married.
A fan named Nona Melkoni was in the restaurant at the same time as Baldwin and Bieber. She later told Us Weekly how the celebrity couple admitted to being married. “I asked them if they were married and they simultaneously said yes,” the fan said.
Meanwhile, there were other reports mentioning how romantic Baldwin and Bieber were during the Tuesday breakfast date. And the same fan confirmed that the couple really was. Melkoni shared, “They were both very happy and kind. He told me that she’s his angel. They were super sweet.”

Entertainment Tonight also quoted several eyewitnesses to attest to how romantic the newlyweds were during breakfast. “Hailey and Justin were very lovey-dovey while they were ordering food,” one of the sources said. “Justin ordered avocado toast with a fried egg on top. While Hailey waited for the food, Justin stepped outside to take a quick phone call."
Baldwin and Bieber confirmed their engagement in July through social media posts. But since then, they have not publicly discussed their wedding plans. And then on Sept. 13, PEOPLE reported having sources who said the two got married in a courthouse in New York City, but they will still have a “religious ceremony and celebration” in the future.
Now, the couple also shows how they are looking forward to their future. Baldwin recently admitted to definitely wanting to have babies with Bieber. The model told Harper’s Bazaar that she plans to have more tattoos but she is certainly “keeping space for [her] kids’ names.”
