GLENDALE, Calif., Jan. 11, 2018 -- Health Data Vision, Inc. (HDVI), announced today that Health New England is contracting with HDVI for its medical record retrieval and abstraction services as of December 2017.
HDVI leverages its Medical Record Collection System (MRCS) platform, a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution, to support Health New England’s critical Quality and HEDIS® initiatives in a year-round collection effort to increase process efficiencies.
Health New England needed a vendor for the HEDIS® Hybrid 2018 season that can get them up-and-running quickly on a full-service basis, and yet offer flexibility to leverage more of their in-house resources over time using MRCS as a self-service platform.
MRCS allows customers to control their timeline, provides real-time visibility and full transparency into all medical record retrieval and abstraction results, as well as, manage internal and external SLAs. Additionally, HDVI’s MRRV Audit Wizard significantly reduces time spent preparing and submitting an audit.
HDVI’s experienced Provider Service Representatives and Abstractors reduce the burden of in-house retrieval and review, with numerous options for getting medical records in the door, including its proprietary Secure Virtual Print (SVP), which eliminates paper and provider abrasion.
“With a shift to value-based care, health plans are investing more in Quality Improvement and HEDIS®,” said Jay Ackerman, CEO of HDVI, “Our mission is to provide companies such as Health New England with the technology to confidently manage these critical and time-sensitive cycles.”
“We are fortunate to partner with HDVI in support of our goal to continually improve our HEDIS scores and STAR ratings. With MRCS, we have confidence that this new process will support our business goals,” said Frank Namukangula, Quality & 5 STAR Ratings Manager at Health New England.
