GAHANNA, Ohio, Dec. 20, 2017 -- Heartland BancCorp (“the company” and “the bank”), (OTCQB:HLAN), parent company of Heartland Bank, today announces the launch of their financial planning group. Heartland Planning Associates will engage clients with a modern approach to holistic planning and transactional guidance. The team’s strategic direction now focuses on establishing goals and objectives first, then discussing solutions that are tailored to each client’s needs. In addition to advising individuals and families, the Heartland Planning Associates team offers goal oriented retirement plans for businesses and their employees.
“While we have been in the financial management space since 1996, we felt the need to offer access to guidance and consulting of the entire financial picture for our clients. We don’t want to favor one solution over another based on a specific family situation or how the client’s company is set up, rather let the client’s life goals drive the solutions,” stated G. Scott McComb, President and CEO of Heartland Bank.
The change is so significant that Heartland marked it by finding new leadership to drive the business unit and established a new name, updated logo and revamped website. The Heartland Planning Associates team leader, Jessica McNamee, VP and Director of Financial Planning, holds a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ (CFP) designation and encourages her team to utilize a multitude of products and strategies to establish the individualized plans. Jessica is joined by Kori Manus, a well-known, 18-year local advisor who sees value in the new Heartland model. McNamee stated, “We get to know our clients on a deep level, understanding the goals, vision and values of the person sitting in front of us. Success can be achieved when listening meets service, and Heartland is known for that in this marketplace.”
The team will eventually be housed in Heartland Bank’s new Upper Arlington branch office, at the corner of Northwest and Lane Avenue, when it’s completed in early 2019.
