TIANJIN, CHINA, Jan. 03, 2018 -- At the 3rd Huawei Data Center Facility Summit recently held in Tianjin, China, Huawei FusionModule2000 was granted with the world’s first TIER-IV Ready Certification. Matt Thonen, Global Operation Vice President of Uptime presented the certification to Huawei. TIER IV is the highest level in TIER-Ready certification system. This certification shows that Huawei ’s data center facility product and solution reach a new height.
More and more enterprises migrate their IT businesses to data centers, which pose great challenge to DC’s reliability. Certification of high-reliability will bring more opportunities to data center operators.
It is the first time for Uptime to issue TIER IV-Ready Certification for DC facility product and solution. Huawei FusionModule2000 is awarded with the certification, which shows that Huawei smart modular DC solution satisfies the highest standard in the industry in all rounds. Huawei solutions can bring ultra-high reliability to users.
Apart from architecture, Huawei solution provides core systems of data center, like power, cooling and control system, with high-reliable design. Huawei integrates intelligent and digital technology into data center facilities. iPower, iCooling and iManager achieve preventative maintenance. Besides, the management system can analyze data like equipment parameter, signal, operating environment and IT load and then dynamically optimize airflow, air temperature, valve status, setting of chilling units and air-conditioners. It provides DC facilities with an optimal parameter portfolio. The intelligent technologies minimize PUE of data center and detect potential risks early. Huawei solution helps customer deploy data center quickly with less footprint and power consumption. Meanwhile, Huawei solution can maximize the O&M efficiency of data center.
Huawei, as the leader of modular data center, bring simple, reliable and efficient solutions to customers. It has won wide market recognition by continuous innovation. Many reputable companies, including China Unicom, ICBC and Dubai Airport, have chosen Huawei as the solution provider of data center facility. Huawei has been promoting the intelligent development of data center with partners.
