Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have been fairly secretive about their relationship. But, recently, the “Robin Hood” star provided a rare statement about their recent vacation in Miami.
The Hollywood stars have been pretty evasive in answering questions about their romance for the very understandable reason that they want to keep things as private as possible. But, in a rare chance, Foxx reacted to the photos that surfaced showing his vacation with Holmes and told Us Weekly, “It was foolish!” For now, that was all Foxx was willing to dish out about his romantic getaway with Holmes.
Foxx and Holmes were spotted on a vacation in Florida before 2018 ended after a photo of them sharing a kiss while on board a luxury yacht surfaced. Meanwhile, it was also reported around that time that the “Django Unchained” star won the approval of the “Dawson’s Creek” alum’s parents and daughter, Suri Cruise.
A source told Entertainment Tonight that Foxx went out to dinner with her girlfriend and her mother to celebrate Holmes’s birthday. The actress turned 40 last Dec. 18. “Everyone got along great. Jamie is a gentleman and he knows how important Katie’s family is to her. Suri already adores Jamie,” the insider added.
The reported seal of approval Foxx has gotten from Holmes’ parents was immediately followed by a rumor that it was a sign of an upcoming engagement. Even though the couple looks great and happy together, Gossip Cop’s source denied the engagement and wedding rumors and added that the couple is not even planning any of it at the moment.
Even though it is the start of a new year, same old rumors are already creeping in. Aside from the debunked reports of engagement and wedding, a story has once again claimed that Holmes and Foxx are expecting a baby boy this year. The same fact-checking news site reiterated that there is no baby on the way for the couple.
