McDonald's is adding a new item to its summer menu, set to land in weeks. The Oreo Frappé will debut alongside "The Hat Trick" burger, making this summer's menu a must-try.
McDonald's Summer Menu Adds The Hat Trick Burger and Oreo Frappé to Beat the Heat
When the weather eventually resembles summer, customers can cool down with a new offering from McDonald's. In a recent report by LADbible, the fast-food giant is introducing a new item to its summer menu in the coming weeks.
McDonald's menu is set for its annual update as the seasons change. Recently, the chain launched a new burger to celebrate the commencement of the Euros, and soon, a refreshing new beverage will accompany it.
Unveiled on May 29, “The Hat Trick” is a burger like no other, now gracing McDonald's menus across the United Kingdom. This mouthwatering creation boasts three beef patties, two slices of cheese, grilled onions, mustard, and ketchup, all nestled between a glazed sesame seed bun.
McDonald’s also adds one of the most popular primary flavors to its drinks menu for those seeking a cooling indulgence. The Oreo Frappé will be introduced in the United Kingdom later this month, with its debut scheduled for the summer of 2024.
This new beverage combines McDonald's signature vanilla Frappé base with ice and Oreo pieces, topped with whipping cream and additional Oreo pieces. The Oreo Frappé will be offered in two standard sizes: regular, priced at £3.09, and large, priced at £3.39.
Available on all McDonald's menus in the UK and Ireland starting June 26, the Oreo Frappé will be a limited-time offering. It will be available only during the summer and removed from menus on September 3.
In addition to "The Hat Trick" burger, the new menu introduced at the end of last month includes the Chicken Sharebox, which contains six chicken selects, six chicken nuggets, four sauces, and the 9 Chicken Select Sharebox. The dessert menu has also expanded to include Skittles and Galaxy Caramel McFlurries, a Galaxy Chocolate and Raspberry Pie, and the return of the fan-favorite Mozzarella Bites.
McDonald's Unveils New Summer Menu with The Hat Trick Burger, Oreo Frappé, and More Exciting Additions
In a report last month, McDonald's officially unveiled its new menu. While all the items are formidable competitors, the never-before-seen burger has the potential to dominate the market.
The fast-food conglomerate is introducing a series of new snacks anticipated to become summer staples for British consumers who desire a snack while enjoying the warm weather or watching the Euros.
McDonald's is experiencing many activities, including the “Surprise Fries” promotion, Happy Meal box modifications, and a new £3 meal option.
However, the eight new menu items are poised to dominate attention when unveiled on May 29.
The Chicken Sharebox, which contains six chicken selects, six chicken nuggets, and four sauces, is priced at £10.59. Additionally, the 9 Chicken Select Sharebox is priced at £8.49. These items are the highlights of the show.
Mozzarella Bites are also making a comeback and are priced at £2.39. McDonald's fans can also indulge in a Skittles or Galaxy Caramel McFlurry for £2.19 or a Galaxy Chocolate and Raspberry Pie for £1.99.
However, the freshly introduced burger is anticipated to be the most popular item on the menu. “The Hat Trick” is a football-themed item served between a glazed sesame seed bun and contains three beef patties, two segments of cheese, grilled onions, mustard, and ketchup.
For a medium meal at £7.69 and a solitary item at £5.89, it is certainly worth trying if you are a Maccies fan who enjoys items sold in three sets, such as a hat trick.
However, as one door opens, another closes, and British citizens will also have to bid farewell to 12 cherished snacks on May 29.
To accommodate the summer menu, the following items are being eliminated: the Quarter Pound, the Cheese and Herb Melts, the Galaxy Chocolate Mini McFlurry, and the Chicken Big Mac.
McDonald's is also updating its condiment selection, allowing customers to select from various new and enhanced dips that are "the perfect chicken companion," such as Sweet and Smoky BBQ and Garlic Mayo.
As is well-known, these menus are not guaranteed to remain unchanged for an extended period. Therefore, customers are encouraged to indulge in The Hat Trick while the opportunity lasts.
