SAN DIEGO, Feb. 23, 2016 -- Mitek (NASDAQ:MITK), (www.miteksystems.com) a global leader in mobile capture and identity verification software solutions, today announced that it has signed a leading provider of private label store branded credit cards for its Mobile Fill identity capture solution.
The credit card provider will embed Mobile Fill into its tablet app to enable employees to help customers apply for credit cards in the store. With Mobile Fill, the customer will simply hand their driver’s license to a store employee, who then snaps a photo of it with the tablet camera and the application form will be instantly completed.
“According to CRM Trends, for some retailers as much as 35% - 42% of sales are on a private label credit card. This is why two of the top private label card issuers have now selected Mobile Fill to streamline the credit card application process for their customers,” said James B. DeBello, president and CEO, Mitek.
In a similar implementation, Mobile Fill has proven to increase credit card application approvals by 50%. It also eliminated the back-office data entry created by paper applications, reduced falsified applications and increased security by removing paper documentation containing personally identifiable information (PII) from the process.
