Following the success of its previous season, “NBA Live Mobile” Season 3 has created a lot of changes for players, including how they will progress throughout the game. EA has been listening to its player base and has now streamlined the game’s layout by introducing a Campaign mode, Otaku Art reported.
This will be the game’s main home screen and will be the starting point for the events, activities, and tasks that players want to tackle first. This year, the first campaign of “NBA Live Mobile” Season 3 introduced the upcoming rookies in the league like Trae Young and Deandre Ayton, as well as great rookies from the past.
Diving into its gameplay, EA has now provided an in-depth look at how a gamer can utilize the strength and weaknesses of a certain player. “NBA Live Mobile” Season 3 tags players with six different archetypes: playmaker, sharpshooter, slasher, lockdown defender, stretch big, and rim protector.
Through these identifying marks, gamers are able to create a roster in “NBA Live Mobile” Season 3 that will fit a certain playstyle. For instance, if a gamer wants a team like the Boston Celtics, which focuses on defense and transitioning that defense to offense, incorporating lockdown defender archetypes will be the way to go. However, if a gamer has a few players on their team with defensive capabilities, it’s best to create a roster that will take advantage of their current existing archetypes.
In a nutshell, a certain playstyle will not always be accessible if a gamer has limited options due to their restricted roster. Of course, one can always train their team to boost individual skills, which will ultimately lead to achieving a roster capable of executing a particular playstyle. “NBA Live Mobile” Season 3 has also altered how coaches boost the archetypes of their players and provided chemistry buffs that will further make a roster effective.
What’s more, a Shot Locator has been added to the on-court gameplay experience in “NBA Live Mobile” Season 3. This new feature will allow gamers to identify the exact spot where a player is most efficient. The locator has a meter that fills up, indicating that a player has found a hot spot.
Conversely, a court location where the meter decreases indicates poor performance in that area. Of course, a defender from the opposing team will also contribute to how that meter reacts. “NBA Live Mobile” Season 3 has brought a lot of exciting developments to the game and is set to be even more dynamic compared to the previous update. This update was released on Sept. 6 and gamers who have yet to download it can now do so through Google Play or App Store.
