Starting this week, a total of 10 games from the indie developer QubicGames can be downloaded for free on Nintendo Switch. Meanwhile, several retailers have already announced deals for purchasing the portable console this holiday season making it one of the desirable gift options.
Nintendo Switch games: How to get 10 titles for free this month
QubicGames is celebrating its 15th anniversary and letting its fans in on the party, the developer announced 10 games they developed for Nintendo Switch will be given away for free. Note, though, that the chance to get these titles without paying anything is limited to this month only.
The first freebie title is the arcade-like shooting game is “Robonauts.” This offer went live on Tuesday and will run until this Sunday only. Other games that will be up for grabs for free are “Geki Yaba Runner,” “Puzzle Book,” “One Strike,” “Wreckin’ Ball Adventure,” “Koloro,” “#RaceDieRun,” “Rekt,” and “Mana Spark.” These games will be available for free from Dec. 16 to Dec. 23, respectively.
The giveaway promo will conclude on Dec. 24 with a yet to be announced title. It is important to note that, other than “Robonauts,” all games are up for free within 24 hours only.
Players are also required to own at least QubicGames title bought through their Nintendo Switch account before Sunday, Dec. 15. Per the developer’s instruction, “Robonauts” should also be installed for free before the offer expires on Sunday. “This will start a chain reaction of free games you can get from QubicGames,” the developer added.

For the same price, video game fans can get a bundle with the same console version, a $20 credit on eShop, and a red Joy-Con with a Super Mario-themed carrying case.
