AUSTIN, Texas, March 08, 2018 -- OPTIZMO Technologies, the industry leader in email suppression list management, today announced that is has joined the Data & Marketing Association (DMA) and will be participating in various committees and association initiatives designed to lead the direct marketing industry forward in 2018 and beyond.
The DMA (formerly the Direct Marketing Association) champions deeper consumer engagement and business value through the innovative and responsible use of data-driven marketing. The organization’s membership is made up of over 1,400 of the leading tech and data innovators, brand marketers, and other companies across the entire marketing ecosystem.
The OPTIZMO team will be participating on the DMA’s Advocacy and Ethics committees, providing expertise in the email compliance arena to support committee initiatives and content creation.

The company is focused on helping its clients remain compliant with email marketing regulations in the U.S. (the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003) as well as upcoming global regulations like the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which will go into effect on May 25, 2018.
