With the “One Piece Pirate Warriors 4” release date less than a month away, Bandai Namco Entertainment released four trailers showing the gameplay of four new warriors that will be coming to the game. When the title arrives, gamers can play as the Pirate Empress Boa Hancock, the World’s Strongest Swordsman Dracule Mihawk, the Okama King Emporio Ivankov, or as the Star Clown Buggy.
Boa Hancock
Fans of both the “One Piece” manga and anime will surely know of Boa Hancock. She is known as the Snake Princess and is the Pirate Express of Amazon Lily ruling over the Kuja tribe with her two younger Gorgon sisters.
She is also known as the most beautiful woman in the world. But this beauty is deadly as the “One Piece Pirate Warriors 4” gameplay trailer shows. She is able to easily defeat dozens of enemies with her powerful attacks and fearsome ability to turn people into stone with a mere touch.
Dracule Mihawk
Dracule Mihawk is also another warrior that can’t be trifled with. After all, he currently holds the Strongest Swordsman in the World title.
Indeed, Mihawk does not disappoint based on the released “One Piece Pirate Warriors 4” gameplay trailer. Wielding his huge sword, he easily dealt with numerous enemies using his signature moves.
Emporio Ivankov
Another powerful “One Piece” character that will be coming to the game is Emporio Ivankov. Often referred to simply as Iva, the character is known his/her gender-changing ability which is why Iva is both known as the Queen of the Kamabakka Kingdom and as the Okama King.
But players shouldn’t be fooled with Iva’s confusing gender as the character is a very skilled fighter. In the “One Piece Pirate Warriors 4” gameplay trailer, Emporio Ivankov is both strong and agile. There seems to be some variation to Iva’s fighting style as well when the character changes from a man to a woman.
Buggy
The captain of the Buggy Pirate, Buggy the Star Clown might not be known as the most powerful pirate but he is very cunning and knows a lot of tricks he could use during fights. In the “One Piece Pirate Warriors 4” gameplay trailer for the character, he is seen using the explosive Buggy Ball as well as his cool ability to split into numerous pieces.
‘One Piece Pirate Warriors 4’ release date
“One Piece Pirate Warriors 4” will be released on March 26, 2020, for Japan and on March 27 for the rest of the world. The action-adventure, beat 'em up game will be available on multiple platforms such as Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
