“Outlander” season 4 episode 13 will be the fourth installment’s final story. And as it wraps up this season, the avid viewers of the show expressed their wish for Brianna and Roger MacKenzie to finally meet again. But, will this really happen or there will be a big twist at the end?
“Outlander” season 4 episode 13 is called “Man of Worth” and although its synopsis has not been revealed yet, some teaser photos suggest that Claire (Caitriona Balfe) and Jamie Fraser (Sam Heughan) will catch up with the Mohawks as they were traveling to New York. However, it was not shown if they were able to find Roger (Richard Rankin) in the company of the Native American tribe.
As previously mentioned in EconoTimes, episode 12 titled “Providence” continued with Claire and Jamie looking for Roger so they can get him back and have him reunite with their daughter Brianna. The Mohawks may also kill Roger and this is another reason why they have to locate him soon in “Outlander” season 4 episode 13.
Back in River Run, Brianna (Sophie Skelton) has been following aunt Jocasta’s (Maria Doyle Kennedy) advice though she is not really happy with it. For one, she is now engaged to Lord John Grey (David Berry) because her aunt said it is not acceptable to have a baby without a father in the 18th century. “Outlander” season 4 episode 13 will show Bree going along with aunt Jocasta so she will not bother her more.
Fortunately, Lord Grey is now on Brianna’s side and she can rely on him with her plans. The Lord is also gay so Bree knows that even if they get married, she can still go back to Roger. It is interesting to see the engaged couple teaming up for Brianna’s sake in “Outlander” season 4 episode 13.
Lastly, Ed Speeler who plays the savage villain Stephen Bonnet hinted that his character is getting redemption in “Outlander” season 4 episode 13. Although Jamie secretly ordered Murtagh Fitzgibbons (Duncan Lacroix) to find and bring him Bonnet as he wants to kill him with his own hands, Speeler suggested in an interview with Express that the villain would be saved.
“I don’t really want to say too much about where he’ll end up this year, but I guess that’s the big thing isn’t it, whether he’ll get redemption,” the actor said. “Are people who have capabilities to do these act - can you change people like that? I feel that maybe he could be, but I would think it’d be hard-pushed because of the way his psyche is and the way it’s so ingrained in him to behave.”
“Outlander” season 4 episode 13 is set to air on Jan. 27 at 8 p.m. on Starz. Watch the finale trailer below:
