CINCINNATI, Jan. 12, 2018 -- The Patty Brisben Foundation for Women’s Sexual Health, the non-profit arm of Pure Romance, just opened its 2018 grant cycle and is currently accepting applications to support organizations and projects aligned with the Foundation’s mission. The Patty Brisben Foundation advocates for women’s sexual health by funding research, providing education, partnering with community organizations, and connecting individuals to resources.
Non-profit organizations involved in women’s sexual health research are encouraged to apply. To review grant guidelines and funding requirements, visit www.pattybrisbenfoundation.org; under the Research and Education tab. The grant application deadline is March 9, 2018.
Since 2006, the Patty Brisben Foundation for Women’s Sexual Health (“PBF”) has served and continues to serve to enhance women’s sexual health and well-being by focusing on four key areas that have a dramatic impact on women’s sexual health, including:
- Vulvovaginal Pain Disorders
- Impact of Perimenopause and Menopause on Sexual Health
- Intimacy-Related Sexual Dysfunction After Cancer Treatment
- Libido and Sexual Desire
The Foundation was started by Pure Romance Founder Patty Brisben to help organizations serve women seeking relief and counsel for issues impacting their sexual well-being. Since the Foundation’s inception, it has granted close to $2 million to local and national organizations for research, education and community involvement efforts.
A selection of past beneficiaries includes Cancer Family Care, Center for Sexual Health Promotion at Indiana University, Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Massachusetts General Hospital, and University of Kentucky.
