PlayStation 5 is the latest console that Sony will offer to the gamers. Everyone is excitedly waiting for it because the features and upgrades are impressive, and the tech giant promised that it will be the best gaming console available.
Most of the gadget’s specifications and details were already released online, although some of them could not be confirmed yet as of this time. In any case, based on the descriptions, PlayStation 5 will give the players a whole new level of gaming experience that they never had before.
A limited number of units
While many gamers are already expressing their interest in the upcoming PS5 console, Sony revealed that it would only produce a limited number of units. The main reason for this is because of the coronavirus crisis that is gripping the world today.
As per Bloomberg, Sony stated that unlike the fourth-gen console, they would only make at least five to six million PlayStation 5 units, and these are for worldwide distribution already. This decision was also made to protect the company since it can incur big losses if it produces more. The economies today are not in a good state, so sales can be weak around the world.
Games for PS5
It was announced that “Destiny 2” will be included in the game list that will come pre-installed in PlayStation 5. The news came directly from the game’s publisher, Bungie, and it was posted on social media.
On Thursday, the game publisher uploaded a photo on Twitter, and it comes with a caption that simply reads: “‘Destiny 2’ will be on next-gen platforms! More details to come.”
Aside from this, the other predicted games that will on PlayStation 5 are “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla,” “Call of Duty 2020,” “Death Stranding” and “FIFA 2021.”
Reveal date and price
Meanwhile, there are rumors that PlayStation 5 will be revealed on June 2 and finally released in November. This info came from a leaker who claimed to have first-hand knowledge about the matter. Once Sony’s PlayStation 5 is launched, fans can buy it at the predicted price of $499 and up.
