As of this writing, the next season for the TV supernatural hit “Preacher” has yet to be announced. However, it’s more than likely that “Preacher” Season 4 will be greenlit soon and the writers are just taking their sweet time creating the gang’s next crazy adventure. It’s also likely that the next season will premiere in June 2019, if the show’s past is any indication.
As Otaku Art notes, there has been no official air date for “Preacher” Season 4 just yet, but it is likely to be announced soon. After all, it only took a month for Season 3 to be announced following the end of Season 2. Their air dates were also in June of their respective years, so a June 30 premiere in 2019 is not out of the question.
With regards to the story that “Preacher” Season 4 is likely to feature, the episodes might just pick up where it left off in Season 3. Jesse (Dominic Cooper) and the gang caused quite the mess in Angelville, what with massacring Nazis and killing Satan himself. This even paved the way for Adolf Hitler to take over hell.
If this development is already sounding crazy, it gets even better since God finally appeared and asked Tulip (Ruth Negga) to convince Jesse to drop his search for him, Digital Spy recently reported. Tulip declined, of course, which might have repercussions in “Preacher” Season 4. Then again, the important thing is that the gang will be back together on the small screen soon.
As for the other characters that are likely to return for “Preacher” Season 4, Adolf Hitler (Noah Taylor) and Herr Starr (Pip Torrens) are good candidates. After all, the show can’t exactly continue without featuring the successor of Satan now that the prince of darkness has been murdered. Viewers should be prepared to see even more gore coming up.
