San Diego, California, Jan. 04, 2018 -- R.O.S. (Radiology Oncology Systems, Inc.) is pleased to announce the installation of the first SR Pulse 710™ 1.5T wide-bore MRI system in the United States. The FDA-approved, Swissray-manufactured system was installed at Ackerman Cancer Center in Jacksonville, Florida.
Scot Ackerman, M.D. stated “At Ackerman Cancer Center, we want to provide the most advanced and comfortable technology for our patients. The SR Pulse 710 allows us to do both – the openness of the bore reduces claustrophobia and the ability to perform DWI results in more accurate imaging so we can develop the best clinical plan to cure patients.”
The sale of the SR Pulse 710 was executed by Radiology Oncology Systems of San Diego, California, a Swissray MRI distributor. R.O.S. helps radiation oncology and diagnostic imaging facilities around the world secure quality, cost-effective equipment.
