LAS VEGAS, Jan. 09, 2018 -- Smart Home innovator Roost, today unveiled the Roost Smart Garage Door Sensor to enhance home protection and everyday peace-of-mind. The Roost Smart Garage Door Sensor joins Roost’s growing suite of Wi-Fi connected home products, which include the second generation, award-winning Roost Smart Battery and the Roost Smart Water Leak and Freeze Detector.

The Roost Smart Garage Door Sensor always keeps residents apprised of the state of their garage door, providing greater knowledge and awareness of the security of their home. This new smart sensor will notify owners if the garage is still open at bedtime, or if it is left open after they drive away in the morning. Notifications can also be customized by time – if for instance a parent wants to be sure children arrive home after school between 3-4pm or if you just want to mange alert receipts to time of day when you want to receive them.
