“Outlander” season 4 premiered on Nov. 4 and it was such a tragic opening for Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe’s characters - Jaime and Claire Fraser. It definitely ended in a cliffhanger so fans can’t wait for the next episode for the continuation of the story.
“Outlander” season 4's pilot episode was titled “America the Beautiful” and it was about Jamie and Claire’s travel to America in an attempt to start a new life in North Carolina. This is their first time to be together for a long time, as husband and wife, so they were hoping that their move to a new land would be good for them.
However, their journey proved to be unfortunate as they were assaulted and robbed by the same man who they have saved from hanging. He is Stephen Bonnet (Ed Speleers) and the couple realized too late that saving him was a big mistake.
In any case, “Outlander” season 4 episode 2 titled “Do No Harm” will continue from where it left off, from the time when Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe’s characters were trying to escape from the hands of the robbers.
Moreover, Jaime and Claire will head to Aunt Jacosta Cameron’s (Maria Doyle Kennedy) plantation after arriving in America but they will discover something that they will contend. As per Den of Geek, the “Outlander” season 4 episode 2’s synopsis reads: “Claire and Jamie visit his Aunt Jocasta at her plantation, River Run; when tragedy strikes at the plantation, Jamie and Claire find themselves caught between what's right and the law of the land.”
It was the outline did not mention what the issue is but based on the promo trailer, Jamie and Claire will create tension at the former’s aunt’s plantation when they openly aired their opinion about the slaves in the property.
Apparently, when the couple discovered that the plantation is being run by a number of slaves that Aunt Jacosta has been keeping in the estate, they confronted her for the inhumane practice. The tension will escalate and this will make the townspeople hate the newcomers.
Sam Hueghan and Caitriona Balfe’s “Outlander” season 4 episode 2 is airing on Nov. 11 on Starz at 8 p.m.
